"The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance."
~Alan Watts
And so it is time to take a new plunge.
There is a little bit of my soul built into the walls and the ceiling and the stringers of the Empress. It was with love and dedication and determination (and salt water--sweat and tears) that the Empress Bennu was rebuilt). There were times I was ready to quit...many times I wondered what I had gotten myself into...but no regrets.
On March 28, 2012, I made a down-payment on a boat named Nauta Priority. On April 28, 2012, we started removing the interior of the boat and getting her ready for renovation. On June 7, 2013, her name officially changed to Empress Bennu. This year we heard her engines running and she's ready to take out--the final step of her ReBirth.
It has been an amazing 5 and a half years. The Empress and I both have changed a lot in that time! And the change continues.
In August, 2017, my boyfriend Paul Peters & I are moving to an island in the Caribbean: St Croix, USVI.
It is a difficult thing to do...and a difficult thing to announce, but the Empress Bennu is for sale. I thought I would post it on this blog first...hoping to sell her to someone who will love her as much as I.

The era of Captain Tracy and her Empress Bennu is coming to an end. I am ready to plunge into the next era...A Girl ReBorn: The Island Version. And yes, there is a blog (click here to check it out! :)
